A farm stay is part holiday, part adventure, and the right bag makes both easier. Here is what our regular guests bring, and what you can leave at home.
Pack for mud in the morning and a fire in the evening, and you’ll be ready for anything the farm throws at you.
Weather in the hills changes quickly, even in summer. Layers beat one big coat, and a pair of boots you don’t mind getting dirty is the single most useful thing you can bring.
- Waterproof boots or old trainers for the barn
- A warm layer and a hat for evenings by the fire
- A flashlight or headlamp for the cabin path
- A reusable bottle for spring water on the trails
- An appetite: dinner is five courses
Forgot something? We keep spare boots, rain jackets, walking poles and phone chargers in the boot room for guests to borrow.
